The Pickaway County District Public Library has an opening for 
Collection Development/Technical Services Coordinator. I am posting the

The Pickaway County District Public Library seeks qualified individual 
to manage collection development and technical services functions. 
Position is responsible for preparing and implementing a collection 
management plan for Main Library and one branch. Supervises the 
acquisitions process (from verification through receipt of materials), 
as well as the 1.5 FTE staff who catalog and process materials via a 
consortium environment and a shared ILS. Selects adult-fiction and 
adult-non-fiction materials for Main Library and coordinates weeding of 
materials. This full-time position (35 hours per week) reports to 
Library Director. Qualifications include: A bachelor's degree required 
and MLS or equivalent from an ALA-accredited school is desirable; public 
library work experience and familiarity with library databases strongly 
preferred; experience with online ordering of library materials 
preferred; supervisory experience strongly preferred; general knowledge 
of cataloging principles and materials processing desirable; ability to 
communicate clearly (orally and in writing) essential; and experience in 
working with budgets preferred; knowledge of collections and selection 
tools is essential. Starting salary range: $26,754.00-$31,540.60. Good
