I only received 6 replies (5 answers, 1 no answer but asking for the results). It seems everyone offers these types of patrons a card (no surprise), but 3 libraries carry a restriction of 2-3 items out at a time, while 2 libraries give no restrictions.
I believe our library is going to offer restricted cards with only 2 items checked out at a time for group home/homeless/transient patrons. We will gather as much information as we can (group home/shelter address, previous address, birth date, State ID #, full name).
If anyone has anything else to add or comment, please send it to me. Thanks again!
