QR Codes and Libraries

With new technologies emerging every day libraries are constantly
seeking ways to integrate them into their services.  One of these new
technologies is QR Codes.  QR codes are square barcodes that can hold
much more information than traditional "multiple-bar" barcodes.
Individuals and companies are using these barcodes to easily and quickly
connect people with information such as URLs, vcards, email addresses,
videos and more.  The article discusses what QR codes are, how they are
used, and different ways that libraries have used them.
