[OPLINLIST] SMART Board for Sale

Westlake Porter Public Library is offering an older model SMART Board 
for sale to Ohio libraries.

The SMART Board 3000i is a rear-projection, self-contained, cabinet 
model interactive "whiteboard" that turns your computer into a powerful 
presentation and collaboration tool. The 67-inch (diagonal) display 
screen is touch-sensitive and interacts with a Windows computer allowing 
finger touches to initiate behaviors normally evoked with mouse actions.

WPPL purchased the system new in 2002. The cabinet and screen are in 
very good to excellent condition. The display does not run as bright or 
as contrasty as when new but is usable in rooms with subdued lighting. 
Interactive features function very well. The system is for sale with 
original software and documentation provided but no computer (a standard 
Windows XP PC would do). The new owner would also need to provide a 
wireless keyboard & mouse for use with their PC.

The price is first $500 or best offer received by 5:00 PM, Tuesday, 
March 8, 2011. The system is available for inspection at WPPL. Buyer 
must provide transport for the unit -- it is too large for us to ship! 
Measures about 58" W x 79" H x 30" D, weighs 375 lbs, cabinet is wheeled.
