The Delaware County District Library has an immediate opening for a Teen
Librarian at the Delaware Branch.  This position reports to the Youth
Services Manager.  Primary duties are programming and collection development
for teens and developing a Teen Advisory Board.  In addition, this person
will assist with programming for children and assist at the children’s

DCDL places a high value on friendly customer service and has an active
program of service to children, teens and parents.  The successful candidate
will have a strong customer service focus, the ability to hold the attention
of children and teens during programs, the ability to multi-task, and
excellent verbal communication skills. Master’s degree required; experience
working with teens and experience in libraries preferred.

The salary is $16.51 - $20.65 per hour, with generous benefits and a strong
institutional commitment to continuing education. This is a full-time
position and will include working some nights & weekends. Download and print
