This notice is being cross-posted to Library Youth Services and
OPLINlist to ensure it reaches every public library. Thank you.

The State Library asks all Ohio public libraries to report on their
summer reading programs at program's end. The information you will
provide is of great value. Your participation in the 2011 SRP
Evaluation will help the State Library, Regional Library Systems,
cooperating state agencies, and the Collaborative Summer Library Program
to provide helpful resources and support for future SRPs, and to
communicate the breadth of participation in library SRPs statewide.

The survey instrument will be available from mid-June through early
September. A link will be posted to OPLINlist and the Library Youth
Services list. Please make sure one representative of your library or
system is responsible for completing the survey. If individual library
outlets within your system offer independent SRPs and statistics are not
compiled centrally, each outlet may complete the survey for itself.

Below my signature, please find a summary of the questions on the
survey. Review these questions and track your SRP participation and
activities accordingly if possible. Please note there is one new
question: regarding attendance at SRP-related library programs
(storytimes, performers, etc.).

Just a couple weeks 'til SRP. Good luck and have fun with yours!

Sincerely,
Janet
