New executive director, NORTHEAST OHIO Regional Library System

Warren, Ohio-May 31, 2011, 4:00 p.m. - NEO-RLS is pleased to announce
the election of members Laura Leonard, Jane Carle, Andrew Davis, Patrick
Finan and Elizabeth Lantz to the NEO-RLS Board of Trustees.

The NEO-RLS Board of Trustees consists of fifteen (15) persons that are
selected from among the duly appointed Voting Representatives of the
Advisory Council.  All terms of office on the Board of Trustees shall be
three year (3) terms.  Ten of the Board positions are comprised of
Public Library members representing ten (10) public library categories
based on total library revenues.   

Laura Leonard is the Director of the Twinsburg Public Library and will
be representing Group D Libraries (revenue of 1,900,001 - 4,700,000). 
Jane Carle is the Director of the Kirtland Public Library and will be
serving her second term as the Group I Representative (revenue of
450,001 - 625,000).  
Andrew Davis is the Director of the Grand Valley Public Library and will
be serving his second term as the Group J Representative (revenue up to
450,000).  
Patrick Finan is the Director of the McKinley Memorial Library and will
serve as the At-Large Public Library Representative.  
Elizabeth Lantz is the Director of Library and Archives of the Cleveland
Museum of Art, Ingalls Library and will be serving her second term as
the Special Library Representative.

The new trustees will take their oath at the NEO-RLS Organizational
Meeting that will be held on July 19, 2011 at NEO-RLS.  

The Northeast Ohio Regional Library System (NEO-RLS) is a multi-type
library consortium assisting member libraries to better meet the needs
of their customers by creating opportunities to accomplish services and
programs beyond individual capabilities and resources. NEO-RLS
facilitates the work of member libraries through membership-driven
services, professional development and responsible fiscal management.
NEO-RLS current membership consists of 91 public, academic, special and
school libraries in 22 counties that serve over 4.4 million people - 40%
of Ohio's citizens.
