Program Description:
Library Management has a responsibility to preserve the library's data and technology infrastructure, yet an unanticipated emergency can put these systems at risk. Planning for the unexpected, from large scale emergencies to damage from leaks, pest infestations, theft or fire, allows institutions of any size or budget to identify risks and mitigate damage to systems & data, preventing emergencies from becoming disasters.
In this interactive workshop our goals are to: assess your vulnerabilities at your library, evaluate and mitigate risks to staff and systems and help you begin to create a disaster plan.
