Good Afternoon everyone! I have some information for all you fellow
programmers out there. I was contacted a couple months ago by a gentleman
out of New York, who does an atronomy program. We will be having him here
at our library May 8 and he is looking for other libraries to visit while
he is in out state. I have listed below is pricing and contact information
if you are interested. I am hoping to help him book some other places
otherwise he will be unable to come. Thanks so much for your help! Sheena

Fee is $350 and I do offer block scheduling discounts. In other words, if
you are willing and able to help me book an astronomy program at another
library or school in your general location within about a 50 mile radius
and during that same time frame, I will give you a $50 discount for EACH
organization booked. Astronomy for Everyone: Size & Scale of the Universe
is an exciting family-oriented program that lasts approximately 2 hours. I
use an MS PowerPoint slide presentation format with a laptop PC, so a
digital projector and screen are needed. I also incorporate some incredible
video footage and hands-on activities that give everyone present a sense of
awe. Following this indoor formal presentation, we all go outdoors to view
celestial objects in the night sky, such as the rings of Saturn, craters on
the Moon, etc. This, of course, depends on the weather hopefully having
relatively clear skies.
