[OPLINLIST] Obtaining Video Files for Movie & Book Trailers

Good afternoon!

Our library system is planning on using flat screen TVs within our main
building as a means to market library materials, events, and services to our
patrons while they browse. We're looking into converting some of our print
posters into .jpg files so that we can rotate them on the screens in
slideshow formats; however, we're also investigating a multimedia concept
where we showcase movie and book trailers for recently released DVDs and
print titles that we've added to our collection.

The catch, of course, is that we can't simply extract the link to these
videos from YouTube and use them that way. Since these TVs will have no
Internet connection, we'll need the actual video files that correspond to
these movie and book trailers in order to use them.

I've found a few websites that offer free movie trailer downloads, but I was
wondering if there are better options out there, especially for book
trailers. Has anyone had any experience with this? If so, please respond to
me off list and I'll be eternally grateful.

Many thanks,

Andrea Legg
