Public Service Assistant & Librarian
SUBSTITUTE POSITIONS
The Akron-Summit County Public Library is seeking qualified applicants to substitute in the branches and Main Library for both Public Service Assistant and Librarian positions. Qualified candidates must have recent library experience (preferably in a public library setting). Applicants must have completed at least two years of college to work as a PSA and must possess a Master of Library and Information Science degree from an ALA-accredited school to work as a Librarian. Former ASCPL employees will be considered as well as current employees of other library systems. Hours include evenings and weekends and are not set or guaranteed - substitutes will be called on an "as needed" basis. Candidates with the flexibility to report to work within two hours of being called and those with reliable transportation are desired. Training will be provided.

Applications will be accepted in person at the Main Library's Administration reception desk on the 3rd floor, Monday - Friday from 9:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. only.
