> *Jackie Dooley* is an internationally recognized expert in archives, rare
> books, visual materials and other special collections. Within OCLC Research,
> she leads projects to inform and improve professional archival practice.
> Activities include analysis of archival descriptive practices through data
> mining of WorldCat; design and implementation of a detailed survey of
> special collections libraries in the OCLC Research Library Partnership, the
> Association of Research Libraries (ARL) and other consortia; participation
> in redesign and expansion of ArchiveGrid; and studying the needs of archival
> repositories for specialized tools and services.

> for cataloging and description. She was a member of the research team that
