Good afternoon!

If you are a fan of TED <http://www.ted.com> talks, this one is for you!

Registrations are now open for *What *Won't* Be Next in Technology*.
Chris Rockwell, founder of lextant <http://www.lextant.com> and presenter at
TEDxColumbus 2010<http://tedxcolumbus.com/speakers-performers/2010-whats-next-speakers-performers>,
will be your guide.  As a person that helps innovators take products to
market and to profit, Chris knows a few things about ideas and design for
people. And moreover, why it too often fails. A life-long expert in the
human factor, he will help us understand how our ingrained point of view can
lead our creative instincts astray; and how creating with- instead of for-
people can result in breakthrough experiences.

A couple points to ponder before attending the webinar:

*All Design Results In An Experience*
Like it or not. On purpose or by accident. Chris uses the coffee cup with
poker game on it as an example of bad design. You have to dump out the
coffee to see the “hole” card on the bottom.

*Ideas Are Everywhere*
How do we find them? First, we must find out where ideas come from. They
result from creativity and intuition. Our frame of reference shapes our
ideas and an accurate frame of reference results in better ideas. The
challenge is how do we create an accurate frame of reference?
