[OPLINLIST] Copyright License Purchase

Hi Janelle,
	We purchased a Public Performance Site License from Movie Licensing USA (Swank) and have shown three movies. We showed Hunger Games on Saturday night, the day it came out on DVD, and got a good crowd considering how small a town we are. Be sure to carefully review the producers included so you can find movies for all your potential audiences. For example, our license includes Disney Pictures (with Pixar) for kids and DreamWorks and Sony (for adults) which I believe are not available through MPLC. Also, if you want to show movies outside, there are usually additional costs and conditions. We're negotiating with the Friends and Rotary to underwrite outdoor showings (and sell popcorn).
