[OPLINLIST] Sharing Sick Time

Hi everyone. We have a retiring director who would like to gift her unused sick time to staff members who have been diagnosed with a critical illness. Has anyone had any experience with this type of transference? Would anyone mind sharing the legal end of this if applicable? Or is it solely up to the library to decide whether they will allow this type of transference?
