[OPLINLIST] CSLP soliciting suggestions for 2014 SRP slogans & 2015theme

Good afternoon.  The CSLP has revised its deadline for input from states
on the 2014 collaborative slogans and 2015 theme.  The survey below will
now be open through Friday, March 2.  That gives more time to discover,
invent, theorize, innovate, experiment with, and submit your slogan
ideas for the 2014 collaborative summer reading theme: SCIENCE.

 

Also needed: your suggestions for a general theme for 2015.  (Check out
this list of Ohio/CSLP SRP themes for a quick tour of where we've been:

subscribed to both, please forgive the duplication.

 

 

While you're busy planning your 2012 Summer Reading Program, please give
your input for future Collaborative Summer Library Program (CSLP)
slogans and themes.  

 

The CSLP is soliciting ideas from public libraries for:

 

1.	SLOGANS for the 2014 CSLP children's, teen, and adult summer
programs.  The theme is science.   
2.	A general THEME or concept for the 2015 CSLP summer program.

 

For example, the 2012 general theme is night-time.  The 2012 children's
slogan is "Dream Big - Read".

 

If you have any suggestions, please send them via this survey:
http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/cslp2014_slogans.  The survey also
provides an opportunity for you to give feedback on any aspect of CSLP
services and resources. 

 

Submit up to three suggestions in each category (2014 children's, teen,
adult slogans; 2015 theme), as you like.  You may involve your
coworkers, your library patrons, volunteers, TAB, etc.  Multiple staff
members from your library may each complete the survey, which will be
open only until February 24.  Hurry!  

 

The CSLP will review suggestions from librarians around the country, and
will choose the 2014 slogans and 2015 general theme at its annual
meeting in April.
