[OPLINLIST] New CSLP "One Slogan" survey

The Collaborative Summer Library Program has asked its state
representatives to distribute a survey for all public librarians.  A
proposal has been brought forward that CSLP offer a single slogan for
all age groups in future summer reading programs.  For example, if this
were in place now, the 2012 CSLP summer reading program slogan might be
"Dream Big - Read" for all age groups, instead of "Dream Big - Read" for
children, "Own the Night" for teens, and "Between the Covers" for
adults.

 

The CSLP solicits your opinions on this possible change to their annual
program.

 

This survey also asks, if the CSLP moved to a single slogan each year,
whether you would want to continue to have different artwork for each
age group.

March 30.  Survey results go directly to the CSLP Board of Directors.

This "One Slogan" survey is separate from the survey I announced earlier
this month, requesting ideas for 2014 CSLP slogans and a 2015 CSLP
theme.  The slogan/theme survey remains open until March 2.  Results go
to me and I will compile them for the CSLP meeting.  The slogan/theme

I apologize for any confusion resulting from the multiple surveys.  The
CSLP's annual meeting is in April, and the organization is trying to
gather information on numerous issues from librarians nationwide so that
responsive, informed decisions may be made at the meeting.  Many thanks
for your patience and for taking the time to offer your feedback through
these surveys.
