Hi Susan,

 

The Disney Digital Books read to you.  At least some of them do.  If you
sign in to your digital account via the Ohio eBook Project, you should
have access to the Disney books.  Once you click on the Disney Books,
which are always available, keep in mind that only certain titles have
the option to "look-and-listen..." as shown below:

 

  

These items do count against your checkout, so I would recommend setting
your checkout period to 7 days for these titles, since they are always
available.

 

The Kindle Fire among several other eReaders have books available to
download in there app store that will read to you as well.  I know
devices with the android OS (Kindle Fire) and Apple devices such as the
iPad have interactive books available in there app store.  Some of the
interactive books are free and some are not.

I have a patron looking for a reader that has the function to read aloud
to the child. Does anyone know of any e-books or gadgets or online
resources where a student can have the book read to them while
highlighting the words? Thanks in advance for your help.
