[OPLINLIST] Upcoming LSTA application deadlines

Please excuse multiple postings...

 

There are three Library Service Technology Act (LSTA) grant cycles
currently open.  They are:

 

*        Full Grants:  Deadline to apply April 25, 2012.  
http://library.ohio.gov/lpd/lsta-full-grants.  To assist libraries
implementing programs and services in the areas of technological
innovation, training, targeted populations or services to youth.
Partnership projects are highly encouraged.

 

*        AWE special grant:  Deadline to apply  Marcy 19, 2012.  
http://library.ohio.gov/lpd/awe-digital-learning-solutions-special-grant
.  For the purchase of AWE Digital Learning Solutions in order to
promote early literacy initiatives.

 

*        Choose to Read Ohio:  Deadline to apply April 1, 2012.  
http://library.ohio.gov/lpd/choose-read-ohio-special-grant.  To promote
reading and Ohio authors using the 2011-2012 Choose to Read Ohio titles.


 

If you have an idea for a library program or service need that could
potentially be met through one of these LSTA programs, review the
specifics about each grant program at the link provided and consider
submitting an application.  As you plan and write your proposal State
Library staff is available to answer your questions and review draft
proposals.
