[OPLINLIST] Registration open for Adult Summer Reading Program workshop webinar

Thinking of implementing an adult summer reading program? Did you have
one last year and it was just so-so? Don't have a clue where to even
start? Or do you have years of success and are just looking for new
ideas? We have the answers!

 

Ohio's Regional Library Systems and the State Library have partnered to
bring you the Adult Summer Reading Workshop webinar. Join us for this
special event on Tuesday, January 31 from 10:00 am - Noon. Librarians
from around Ohio will bring you tips and ideas on successful
programming, publicity, prizes, and how to integrate social media into
your program.  Summer getting too near too soon?  You'll also learn
about a successful adult Winter Reading Program for some outside-the-box
inspiration.

 

Topics will include:

* Themes (this workshop will reference but not focus on the CSLP
"Between the Covers" theme)

* Programming

* Promotions

* Fundraising

* Community outreach

* Particular patron populations

 

This workshop will be held online via Adobe Connect, so you can attend
from your desk.  Instructions for accessing the online workshop will be
e-mailed to you prior to the start of the session.   

 

Registration is required and there is a $20 fee for this workshop.  The
workshop is open to all Ohio library staff members.  You do not have to
be an enhanced (dues-paying) member of your Regional Library System in
order to register and attend.
