[OPLINLIST] Young Adult Position

Westlake Porter Public Library has an opening for a customer service and team oriented Young Adult Specialist.  

Candidates must have an ALA-accredited MLS. One to three years of public library experience is preferred. Comfort, familiarity and basic usage skills for new information technologies are a must. 

The Young Adult Specialist is responsible for the development, planning and implementation of young adult programs and services for the library. Manages YA collection, markets programs and services, acts as a liaison with community organizations, maintains the YA area as an active learning environment, and advocates for the needs of this segment of our community.
