This is being posted on behalf of the Liberty Center Board of Trustees.

Position: Director

The Liberty Center Public Library, located in Liberty Center, Ohio, is a
school district public library with a Legal Service Area Population of
5,647 and 3,161 registered borrowers. The building, with an addition to be
completed is 8,027 square feet. In 2010, the library passed a 5-year
operating levy and last fiscal year had a total operating budget of
$380,000. The library has a collection of over 25,000 books and an annual
circulation of around 39,090. The library is a member of the Northwest
Regional Library System (NORWELD) and Serving Every Ohioan Automation
Consortium (SEO).

The Liberty Center community is located on State Route 109 between State
Route 24 and Delta, Ohio, 40 miles west of Toledo, Ohio.

The Library Board prefers a 4-year college degree. A graduate level library
degree (MLS) from an ALA accredited school and administrative experience,
preferably in a library, would be desirable.
