I'm pleased to announce the fourth annual MCDL author panel on Sat.,
July 21. This year's panel will feature children's author Tricia
Springstubb, teen authors Mara Purnhagen and Cinda Williams Chima, and
adult inspirational author Nancy Herriman.  We will be focusing on
writing for different genres and generations. The panel will take place
at the Brunswick Library (3649 Center Road, Brunswick OH), and
registration is required.  Please note the change of location from

Fourth Annual MCDL Author Panel: Generations and Genres

Learn what it takes to write fiction geared toward a variety of ages and
genres. Join authors Tricia Springstubb (Mo Wren, Lost and Found), Mara
Purnhagen (One Hundred Candles), Cinda Williams Chima (The Gray Wolf
Throne), and Nancy Herriman (The Irish Healer) as they discuss what it
takes to be a successful writer of children's, teen, and adult fiction.

Tricia Springstubb is the recipient of the 2011 Ohioana Juvenile
Literature Award for What Happened on Fox Street, a book inspired by an
eminent domain case in Lakewood, Ohio. Fox Street was a starred review
in Booklist and D. Maria LaRocco of School Library Journal said
"Springstubb creates a richly human and believable story of the
conflicts of growing up and a well-paced, interesting plot with plenty
