[OPLINLIST] Bookdrops during parking lot construction

We are currently undergoing a parking lot project that will render our bolted-down bookdrop unusable for possibly several days. I was wondering if anyone else has had this experience in the past and if anyone has any suggestions regarding a solution. I thought worse case scenario, we would just forgive any fines accrued during this period.
