It is my great pleasure to announce the recipients of the 2012 Ohioana
Book Awards.  They are as follows: 

 

* Fiction: The Paris Wife, by Paula McLain

* Non-fiction: Rin Tin Tin: The Life and Legend, by Susan Orlean

* Poetry: Weather, by Dave Lucas

* Juvenile: Where Do You Stay?, by Andrea Cheng

* Young Adult: The Girl of Fire and Thorns, by Rae Carson 

* About Ohio/Ohioan: Destiny of the Republic: A Tale of Madness,
Medicine and the Murder of a President, by Candice Millard

 

Also, Sarah Menkedick will receive this year's Walter Rumsey Marvin
Grant.
