The State Library of Ohio is announcing the following updates regarding public library statistics:

2012 Public Library Statistics
The 2012 Public Library Statistics are available on the State Library of Ohio's website: http://www.library.ohio.gov/LPD/LibraryStats

Reporting Webinars Available
Lindsay Thompson from Counting Opinions is presenting one hour webinars on Creating and Using Reports using Counting Opinions LibPAS software.  There is no registration to attend these webinars.

State Library Salary Survey Launched
The new State Library Salary Survey has launched and public libraries can start entering data at https://oh.countingopinions.com/ .  Enter using the same Counting Opinions username and password used for the State Library Annual Report.  On the Data Input screen next to "Collection", please choose "State Library Salary Survey" from the drop down menu.  Instructions are provided for your convenience.  You will note the survey is brief and the format very similar to what was previously used in Section 5 of the State Library Annual Report, except Position descriptions have been provided.

Please enter and lock/submit your salary data by September 10th.
