Adult Services Manager
*QUALIFICATIONS*

ALA-accredited MLS is required. Minimum of five years of public library 
experience preferred, including two years supervisory experience. 
Thorough knowledge of principles, theories and concepts of library 
science is required. Working knowledge of both traditional and 
electronic reference sources is essential.

Ability to work with the Windows based operating system, 
word-processing, spreadsheets, e-mail and library software programs at a 
highly proficient level. Must be knowledgeable of current and emerging 
technologies.

Ability to lead,communicate and function effectively in a team-oriented 
environment is critical.

*BRIEF JOB DESCRIPTION*

Under the direction of the Assistant Director, the Adult Services 
Manager performs administrative and professional library work related to 
planning, organizing, and directing the activities of the Adult Services 
Department.

In addition, this position will be responsible for initiating and 
implementing responsive service directions.


*HOURS*

40 Hours per week.

Daytime, Evening and weekend hours required.

CLASSIFICATION *

Senior Manager/ Salary Grade 410, Exempt

Range:$23.72/hr. - $29.65/hr.
