Hello all,

 

The document you will need to calculate your library's eRate discount---
October 2012 MR-81 document, Data for Free and Reduced Price Meal
Eligibility-- is now available.   The data can be found at the Ohio
Department of Education ftp site at ftp://ftp.ode.state.oh.us
<ftp://ftp.ode.state.oh.us>   

 

- Click on the MR81 folder

- Click on the October 2012 folder

- The data is available in 3 formats: 

1. Text file - this is a formatted text file.  Sponsor and county totals
can be found on this file.  

Note: This file must be opened using Notepad or WordPad to be formatted
correctly.

2. Tab delimited file - this file can be easily imported into a
spreadsheet, such as Microsoft Excel.

3. Zip file - this file has been zipped to make it smaller.  Once saved
to a  local drive it must be unzipped before it can be used.

 

- The data is separated into 3 reports 

1.     Traditional claiming

2.     Community Eligibility Option (CEO)

3.     Provision 2

 

Please note, for E-Rate discount calculations, USAC is currently unable
to accept the Community Eligibility Option Free/Reduced counts on the
FY2013 Form 471 application.  If a school district in your service area
is  participating in CEO, you will need to reference their October 2011
Free/Reduced counts in the Block 4 worksheet of the Form 471.
