[OPLINLIST] Policies for Community Service at the Library

I was wondering what kind of policies other libraries have for people
performing community service at the library. Not necessarily for those that
volunteer their services, but rather those who are mandatorily required by a
court to perform an allotted amount of community service hours.
What kind of information do you collect about the person? Do you obtain
details about their violation (ex. if they got in trouble for "anger
management" it might not be a good idea to have them work in the Children's
Department)? How do you schedule their work? What is your policy if the
person does not show up or is late? What if they do not perform tasks
correctly?
Any information would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you so much in advance!
