Build a great list of books to recommend in one sitting! SWON's Reader's Advisory Special Interest Group is led by a great trio of librarians who will be sharing their picks for Best Books of 2012. They can give book recommendations as fast as you can write them down, but they're hoping you'll share your favorite books as well. 

You could put these Best Books lists to lots of great uses: 


    • A display in your library 
    • A feature on the front page of your website or in an email to patrons 
    • A list to keep at reference desks

Catch up on your YA reading in the company of your friends...and rivals! The Teen Reading Challenge is free and open to all contestants. Last year, 200 challengers read over 3,500 books, and we'd love to see that number go way up. Here's the scoop: 

1. See how many teen-oriented books your team can read between February 1 and April 30. 
2. Post reviews to your team's free LibraryThing.com account. 
3. Share reviews with your teammates faster than your teens can ask, "Who's Inigo Montoya?" 
4. Cover yourself in glory! (It's even warmer than fleece!)
