[OPLINLIST] community survey

Hello all,
My library is planning for a building renovation and levy campaign for next
year, and we need to build a survey to seek the thoughts and ideas of the
community, share possibiliteis and better understand their expectations.
Can you please share your experiences in surveying the community, what
worked best and what questions were most valuable?  I would appreciate any
examples you could share as well!
