You're invited - Akron Art Museum event for SLIS Alumni, Students & Friends

The Kent State University School of Library and Information Science ALUMNI AND FRIENDS COUNCIL invites you to an evening at the Akron Art Museum, featuring "The Snowy Day and the Art of Ezra Jack Keats" exhibit.

Enjoy light hors d'oeuvres, beverages (cash bar), and friendly conversation. Meet new SLIS director Dr. Tom Lipinski and learn about the latest school happenings. And explore the art of beloved children's author and illustrator Ezra Jack Keats with art museum education director Alison Caplan.

The event is open to SLIS students and alumni, children's and youth librarians, current and emerging museum professionals, and other librarians and friends of SLIS. All are welcome, but space for this event is limited. RSVP today.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the Alumni and Friends Minority Scholarship fund. Suggested donation: $10. Advance registration requested. Please call Pearle Bower at 330-672-1458 to RSVP.
