The Granville Public Library is reviewing candidates for the Children's
Librarian position.  The Children's Librarian administers all aspects of the
library's Children's Department, including programming, collection
development, planning, and budget management.  The Children's Librarian
staffs the service desk in the department as needed, and, when acting as the
manager on duty, oversees the general functioning of the library and its
staff during designated times.  This position functions as part of the
library's management team and directly supervises the work of the Children's
Assistant.

Qualifications

*	Master's degree in Library Science from an ALA accredited school,
and
*	Two (2) years of library experience, or
*	An equivalent combination of education, training, and expertise

Pay and benefits

*	Annual salary: dependent upon skills and experience

professional organizations
