You are cordially invited to attend the inaugural Ohio Memory Quarterly
Meet-up, happening in your region soon.  Come for an opportunity to meet
& greet with Ohio Historical Society staff, discuss your digitization
interests, share your experiences with Ohio Memory, learn about program
updates and even discover a few fun Ohio Memory facts along the way.
This is a great opportunity to ask questions about digitization projects
that you and your organizations may be considering. Please feel free to
invite colleagues in your region who may be interested in participating.

 

The Ohio Historical Society, in collaboration with the State Library of
Ohio, works with organizations across Ohio to provide access to the
historical treasures of Ohio through Ohio Memory. The goal of Ohio
Memory is to bring together primary sources from around the state to
create an online digital repository that: celebrates state & local
history; encourages cooperation between archives, historical societies,
libraries, museums & other cultural organizations; and allows the global
community to discover & explore Ohio's rich past.

** NORWELD will also be hosting a workshop titled, Digitizing Historic
Collections for Online Access, on Thursday March 28 facilitated by OHS
staff from 10am-2pm. The fee is $25 for NORWELD/Other RLS Members and
