[OPLINLIST] Merging collections question

We are thinking of merging our juvenile fiction paperback series books
in with our hardback juvenile fiction books, the question is should we
put them under the author's last name or under the series title within
the collection?  Such as for example The Magic Tree House books, should
they be under Osborne or The Magic Tree House series?  Does anyone have
any suggestions or what do you do at your library?
