Take Five! is a day of dialogue and discovery for museum and arts educators, school librarians, public librarians and library workers specializing in children's and teen services, afterschool and recreation leaders, and other youth advocates.

The fourth annual Take Five event continues our exploration of creative approaches, new ideas, collaboration, and network-building to inspire you and help you recharge. Last year, we invited you to dream big and ask "What If...?" This year, we look to "Make It Happen" by exploring ways to make those visions a reality through collaboration and creative use of resources.

Take 5 includes traditional conference presentations as well as opportunities for attendees to exchange ideas, share successes, and inspire each other in round table discussions. Big thinkers from the museum, arts, and library worlds will discuss what it takes to "Make It Happen" in short-format presentations. Attendees will share their dreams and successes in an open poster session and in small group conversations throughout the day. The day will also include a tour of the Contemporary Arts Center's UnMuseum.

Don't miss it! Space is limited.
A registration fee of $20 will cover lunch, refreshments, and materials.  Plan also for a parking fee of $6 at the Garfield Garage. To register, go to:
