[OPLINLIST] CSLP soliciting suggestions for 2016 SRP slogans and artist & 2017 theme

While you're busy planning your 2014 Summer Reading Program, please give your input for future Collaborative Summer Library Program (CSLP) slogans and themes.

The CSLP is soliciting ideas from public libraries for:


  1.  SLOGANS for the 2016 CSLP children's, teen, and adult summer programs.  The general theme is fitness / health / sports / exercise.
  2.  Artists/picture book illustrators for the 2016 children's program.
  3.  A general THEME or concept for the 2017 CSLP summer program.

For example, the 2014 general theme is SCIENCE.  The 2014 children's slogan is "Fizz Boom Read", the teen slogan is "Spark a Reaction", and the adult slogan is "Literary Elements".

Please send all suggestions via this survey: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/cslp2016_slogans.

Submit up to three suggestions in each category (2016 children's, teen, adult slogans; 2017 theme).  You may suggests as many artists as you like.  You may skip any survey questions.   You may involve your coworkers, your library patrons, volunteers, TAB, etc.  This survey also provides an opportunity for you to give feedback on any aspect of CSLP services and resources.  Multiple staff members from your library may each complete the survey, which will be open until February 18.

The CSLP will review suggestions from librarians around the country, and will choose the 2016 slogans and 2017 general theme at its annual meeting in April.
