*Please excuse cross-postings.*

The sun is peeking out from behind the clouds, and we're finally shaking
off the chill that certainly feels like it's been with us forever. As
travel becomes a little easier to manage, I want to remind you about some
fantastic in-person training sessions coming soon here at OHIONET. Our
first slate of in-person sessions has been scheduled and will be lead by
the wonderful Dr. Miriam Kahn. Each will feature hands-on demonstration
and instruction on how to best use the featured resources and tools, as
well as practice questions and individual attention from Miriam.

resources are available (sometimes exclusively) online. Learn what you
need to know about helping your staff help others navigate government
services online. This program will follow a train-the-trainer format,

you need to help your users can be frustrating. You don't have to be an
expert to make the most of this treasure trove of data. Let us refresh
your reference skills with an overview of the variety of government
resources available on the Internet. Learn how to use FDsys, THOMAS, and
other specialized sites and search engines. Tips for accessing state and
local information will also be covered.
