Registration is now open for Gov 2.0: Helping Patrons with E-Gov

Public libraries are often on the front lines for helping individuals find
and use government services and resources--even more so, now that many are
available (sometimes exclusively) online.  Make sure that your staff
members are ready to direct folks to online tools for food assistance
programs, unemployment benefits, tax preparation, health insurance and
more.  Our day-long workshop will feature hands-on training from Dr. Miriam
Kahn, and attendees will return with materials and tips to share with
fellow staffers.  Attendees will be given an hour-long break for lunch on
their own.

While public librarians are the primary audience for this event, anyone
with interest in the topic is welcome to join us.
