Thank you to everyone who responded with their favorite freebie items. For anyone interested, here were the suggestions (aside from my personal favorite, sugar and free puppies ;) 



    * Magnifying bookmarks 
    * Heat sensitive pencils

    * Food! (one suggestion was to include cute library taglines) 
    * Eye glass repair kits 
    * Hand sanitizer spray 
    * Balloons (especially the additional investment for the clips eliminating string-tying) 
    * Plastic library bags for festival swag 
    * Post-It notes 
    * Face painting 
    * Temporary tattoos 
    * Rent an ice cream machine
