*Spring Literary Arts Festival to spark inspiration,*
*imagination, and illumination*
"The I's Have It: Inspired, Imagined & Illuminated," the 10th annual
Spring Literary Arts Festival sponsored by the Herbert Wescoat Memorial
Library and the
Friends of the Library in McArthur, Ohio will feature a diverse program
on Saturday, April 12th to include fun activities for the entire family.
The day's events, which begin at 2:00 p.m. in Central Elementary, will
emphasize the writing contest awards ceremony and keynote presentations
by Philip Gulley (http://www.philipgulley.com/about-philip-gulley/),
co-pastor at Fairfield Friends Meeting near Indianapolis/Porch Talk,
Front Porch //Tales,/, author of and /Hometown Tales/ and Tracie
Peterson (http://www.traciepetersonbooks.com/index.html), award-winning,
best-selling Christian fiction author of over 95 books, including /A
Sensible Arrangement/ and /All Things Hidden/.
After the author presentations, SpringFest at the Library will begin at
6:00 and continue to 8:30 p.m. The evening's events will include a
bake-off contest (rules
available in the library and on the library's website), a free community
soup and sandwich supper, a "Jump-n-Slide" bounce house, various games
and prizes, free
wagon rides, and live music, showcasing local talent.
