[OPLINLIST] book stumper

Hi all,

I have a patron who is looking for a book, which she said is part of a series, from maybe 15 years ago. She doesn't know the author or title.

It's about a female forest ranger or wildlife officer in the Pacific NorthWest (~Washington state). Someone has kidnapped a child and someone (else?) is stealing medicinal plants from the state (national?) parks.

Any ideas? Thanks!!
