Circulation Team Leader, full-time, 40 hours per week


Our very busy West Chester Library (circulated 1.37 million items last
year) has an opening for a team leader to coordinate and monitor all
aspects of the circulation department. Your professional supervisory and
leadership skills will assist the team to ensure that customers will have a
pleasant and positive experience.

*Responsibilities:*

•  Monitor and assess services to develop and enhance circulation

•  Lead team so operations are fulfilled and consistent with objectives,
policies, and procedures

•  Supervisory duties include scheduling, training, performance
assessments, interviewing, and staff development

•  Develop and maintain working relationship with the community

*Qualifications:*

•  Bachelor's degree highly preferred

•    Minimum 3 years prior supervisory experience

•  Strong service ethic and customer service skills

•  Excellent computer skills using ILS and MS Office

•   Must have ability to multi-task, prioritize, be organized, and efficient

•  Experience using an automated materials handling system and self-check
out/in is a plus


*Salary range:*
$18.00 - $24.00 per hour depending on experience.
