[OPLINLIST] Fall FY2015 E-Rate Workshop Registration Now Available

Hi all,

I know that many of you receive these eRate emails from the State eRate Coordinator, Lorrie Germann (see the email below). I just wanted to take this opportunity to remind you that while the workshops she lists are excellent, the focus for them will be on eRate in schools. The workshops for eRate in public libraries will be on the follow dates and times:

Some of the new eRate rules are very different for public libraries and schools, particularly for Wifi, so I would encourage to attend one of the public library workshops if at all possible.

Good Afternoon All,

Please see below, the schedule and registration links for the Fall FY2015 E-Rate Workshops.

With the release of the E-Rate Modernization Order (E-Rate 2.0), the bulk of the day will focus on the many changes that will be coming to the program.   Whether you are a newcomer to E-Rate, have filed for many years, or use the service of a consultant, it is recommended you attend in order to understand the program changes and how they will impact you.  The workshop will start at 9:00, with lunch on your own (12:00-1:00).  We will continue the Modernization training after lunch, and conclude with the new Form 470, ending the day at approximately 3:30.

To register, please click on the hyperlink for your chosen date/location, and you will be taken to the Eventbrite registration site.  From there, click on the green "Register" button and provide your information.  Also, be sure to click on "Add to My Calendar", located under the "When & Where" section of the page, to easily add the session to your Outlook, Google, or Yahoo calendar.
