Some time ago, I said that "everything" in the Ohio Web Library subscription to LearningExpress Library is also available at Ohio Means Jobs. 

Thanks to a very careful comparison by State Library staff -- a job I wouldn't wish on anyone, but I'm glad someone did it -- I now know that's wrong. In particular, some of the newest Microsoft tutorials that we got with LEL version 3 in January have not yet appeared at ohiomeansjobs.com. 

That means librarians will have to decide which way to steer their customers. Is the person looking for a job, and would benefit from the resources of Ohio Means Jobs? Or do they want to learn Excel 2013, in which case they need the Ohio Web Library subscription? The need to make that choice makes the information in this workshop important. 

The State Library is negotiating with Ohio Means Jobs for further workshops and perhaps even a recorded webinar, but for right now, the September 29 workshop is the only one that is a sure thing.
