OPLIN Libraries:

We are looking at putting different kinds of tablet based devices out in the library for patrons to utilize, as well as promote our downloadable services. Devices include iPad, Kindle PaperWhite, Kindle Fire. The thought is to secure the devices to tables with a cable and locking system so they don't walk off. I have a decent solution for the iPad but was wondering if anyone has used the security cables that mount with a security tab that uses the peel off sticky tape.

My big concern is that the tape mounted versions will not be strong enough. I understand there are epoxy mounted versions as well, but I really don't want to epoxy a security tab to a $100 - $300 device. I did find a bracket mounted solution http://www.shop.securtech.com/Universal-Tablet-Lock-kit-No-adhesives-TB2660.htm.

Thoughts and input - thanks!
