ASSISTANT MANAGER/AV LIBRARIAN 

 ADULT SERVICES   





QUALIFICATIONS  	

Masters in Library Science from an American Library Association accredited university is required.  Three to five years of public service library experience required.  Significant management experience with a minimum of 2-3 staff members preferred.   



BRIEF JOB DESCRIPTION   	

Broad knowledge base of cultural literacy is essential.  Ability to work with Windows-based OS.  Readers advisory skills necessary.  Must have knowledge of popular materials including fiction videos, music and periodicals.  Emerging technology aptitude required.  Knowledge of collection development essential.  Scheduling, administration, supervisory skills and knowledge of basic HR practices required.   



HOURS  	

40 Hours Per Week 

Daytime, Evening and Weekend Hours Required   



JOB CLASSIFICATION 



Grade 400  Manager   



SALARY  	

$21.18 - $26.47   



DEADLINE
