[OPLINLIST] Christmas fiction for a book club

Years ago, I read Skipping Christmas by John Grisham with a book club.  I never saw the movie (Christmas with the Kranks), so I don’t know if it’s any good, but I remember the discussion being a good one.

I also enjoyed re-reading Little Women around the holidays with a book club.

“Red Bird Christmas” was well received by my book club.

Also, there is “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever”.  It is a short book and there is a movie with Loretta Swit, too.

There's always "A Christmas Carol" by Charles Dickens.
Red Bird Christmas by Fannie Flagg
Shepherds Abiding by Jan Karon (Mitford series)
A Child's Christmas in Wales by Dylan Thomas
A Christmas Memory- short story by Truman Capote.

Nonfiction:
The Man Who Invented Christmas (how the Christmas Carol influenced how we celebrate Christmas)- the author is Les Standiford
