[OPLINLIST] New summary of December 2014 FCC E-rate summary

I hope everything is going well with you today. Today, ALA released a summary of the latest changes to eRate<http://www.districtdispatch.org/2015/01/grab-e-rate-order-cliffsnotes-join-pla-webinar-get-jumpstart-new-year-new-e-rate/>. The most important point is that there is increased funding for the program. The FAQ I released earlier this year<http://oplin.org/eratechanges> is still correct, with one change:

How is the funding for Wi-Fi calculated?
Funding for Wi-Fi for most public libraries is calculated at $2.30 per square foot or a floor for libraries at or below 4000 square feet of $9,200. This means that if a library is smaller than 4000 square feet, the library would apply for Wi-Fi funding at the same level as a 4000 square foot library. If a library serves a population of more than 250,000 in an urban or suburban area or a population of less than 250,000 but more than 100,000 in an urban area, the calculation is $5.00 per square foot.

I have a spreadsheet of the specific library locations that fits in the above definition in red. It's a little confusing since the definition is per library location, not per library system. If you're wondering if your library meets the definition, please let me know off list and I'll email you the spreadsheet.
