We just had a wonderful author visit, Dr. John Becker, for a kids program at the Grandview Heights Public Library.  He was very easy to work with, kind, engaging and great with the kids.  He was very patient about staying after the presentation to sign books for the patrons and took pictures with the kids.  Dr. Becker is local and used to work with Jack Hannah at the zoo and has helped with wild cat conservation organizations.  He has written many books including Frenemies for Life, Wild Cats, and Mugambi's Journey.  He talks with the kids about his journeys and shows video clips of his trips to Africa and the Amazon rainforest.  For a local trip to our library he only charged $150.  It is more for school visits, but still reasonable.
